Description:

The Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager assists in the storing, issuing, fitting, repairing, and maintaining of athletic equipment, clothing, and uniforms for all Southern Utah University athletic teams. This position will report to the Head Athletic Equipment Manager in the Athletics department. Duties and responsibilities include maintaining inventories, such as all athletic uniforms and equipment of a specific athletic team. The assistant manager also aids in the transportation of athletic equipment to off-campus events, assists the proper set up of equipment at all home events, and ensures the availability of equipment and uniforms at all times. The assistant manager will also work closely with the team staff, inspect and repair damaged equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
  • Must be a current student
  • Experience with athletic equipment
  • Knowledge of inventory systems
